KISS Melbourne Concert

After a career which has spanned more than 45 years, KISS has announced that they will be playing their final tour ever in 2019. The appropriately named END OF THE ROAD tour will take fans on a journey of their musical discography. The KISS Melbourne concert promises to provide fans with a memorable experience

KISS originally formed in New York City in January 1973 by Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Peter Criss and Ace Frehley. The band is well known for their on stage face paint and stage outfits. The group originally rose to prominence in the mid-to-late 1970s with their elaborate live performances. The performances featured fire breathing, blood-spitting, smoking guitars, levitating drum kits, shooting rockets and pyrotechnics.

KISS has gone through several line-up changes with Stanley and Simmons being the only original members. The current line-up includes Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer.

When will KISS be performing in Melbourne?

The initial tour announcement was made on the US’s America’s Got Talent stage which sent the internet into overdrive, as each country were hoping that they would get one last KISS performance. The Australian leg of their concert will kick off in Perth, then moving to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

The KISS Melbourne Concerts will be performing at Rod Laver Arena on Thursday the 21st of November, Friday the 22nd of November and Saturday the 30th of November. Each show they will be supported by a different Australian band. Dallas Crane will be supporting the first show, Rival Fire will be supporting the second show and Dead City Ruins will be supporting the last show.

Tickets for the End of the Road tour can be purchased directly through ticketek.
