Night Noodle Markets
The highly anticipated Night Noodle Markets return to Birrarung Marr for 18 nights, from November 9 -26 2017, setting Melbourne tastebuds alight with smells, sounds and tastes from more than 30 hawker-style stalls. Unlike previous years, the Night Noodle Markets will be a standalone event as The Age Good Food Month has moved to 13-23 June in 2018.
In 2017 Coonawarra winery Brand’s Laira will host a pop-up cellar door for a South Australian fix. The Beautiful Truth Night Terrace will be hosting a beer matching session. Pimm’s will also be on tap in the Garden Bar.

The House of Dior
In celebration of the seventieth anniversary of the House of Dior, the National Gallery of Victoria presents the never-before-seen exhibition; The House of Dior: Seventy Years of Haute Couture from 27 August to 7 November 2017.
Exclusive to Melbourne, this exhibition will celebrate the unique designs and lasting legacy of fashion icon Christian Dior. Audiences will discover the nuances of Dior’s fashion design and see one of the few surviving examples of the New Look collection which revitalised women’s fashion in the post-war era.
The exhibition is a collaboration between the NGV and the House of Dior and will feature over 140 garments designed from 1947 to 2017. Also featuring are accessories, sketches, photographs and haute couture fabrics. Buy tickets
