ISAF Sailing World Cup
In its 7th year, the ISAF Sailing World Cup comes to Melbourne for the first time!
The ISAF Sailing World Cup is the premier sailing event of the Southern Hemisphere. Held in six cities around the world annually, this Olympic class regatta will come to Melbourne for the first time this summer. Melbourne will be the first stop of the series before the race heads to Miami (USA), Hyeres (FRA), Weymouth & Portland (GBR) and Qingdao (CHN) before it heads to Abu Dhabi (UAE) for the series Grand Final.
Over 3,000 of the world’s leading yachtsmen representing 48 nations have competed at the event in the past five years.

How to get there: St Kilda is a quick 30 minute tram ride on the 96, which departs from the corner of Flinders Street and Spencer Street, just a minutes’ walk from Holiday Inn Melbourne on Flinders.
Commonwealth Bank Boxing Day Test
There are few sports that evoke as much passion as Test cricket, and the Boxing Day Test is at the pinnacle of the Australian sporting calendar. Be a part of the action at the MCG for the Commonwealth Bank Boxing Day Test between Australia and the West Indies. The match is one of the most anticipated Melbourne Sporting Events of the year.
