Winter Night Market at QV

A must-do Melbourne Winter activity. The Queen Victoria Markets are the pillar of quality produce in Melbourne, and from June 6th- August 29th, the markets will open on Wednesday evenings to provide the ultimate foodie experience. Expect street tapas stalls, Mitchelton specialty Wines & Coldstream craft beer and a ‘Book Nook’ . The ‘Book Nook’ will have pre-loved paperbacks and second-hand records available for purchase, under the magical Christmas in July light display.

Come From Away at the Comedy Theatre

Come From Away tells the remarkable true story of the thousands of stranded passengers and the small town in Newfoundland, Canada that welcomed them. Although initially cultures clashed and nerves ran high, it turned into trust and gratitude grew into friendship. It is a must see Melbourne Winter activity for all those looking to be moved by a musical.

Finders Keepers Market at The Royal Exhibition Building

The self-proclaimed ‘festival of markets’, Finders Keepers is Australia’s leading design market. The market showcases local and conscious-minded products from the communities most artistic minds. The three day event is hybrid of art, quality food & drinks and live music. This allows visitors to connect with the regional spirit of over 250 stallholders. It is the perfect Melbourne Winter activity for the cold weather that Melbourne is famous for.

The Australian Ballet: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland at the Arts Centre Melbourne

After a sellout Winter season in 2017, Christopher’s Wheeldon’s madcap Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland returns in 2019. Wheeldon translates the wit and charm of Lewis Carroll’s story into a delightful dance which is framed by extravagant sets, magnificent costumes and extraordinary music.
