How to get to the Royal Melbourne Show 

Planning your commute to Royal Melbourne show 2019 is simple, meaning you can spend more time soaking up all the event has to offer. The show gates open daily during the 21st of September until the 1st of October 2019 from 9:30am, with all main pavilions granting entry at 10:00am. The gates will close at 9pm each evening.

How to get to the Royal Melbourne Show by public transport
The Royal Melbourne Show is housed at Melbourne Showgrounds, which sits conveniently next to the ‘Showgrounds’ railway station. Trains run from Flinders Street, Southern Cross and North Melbourne stations to the Melbourne Showgrounds Station every 10-20 minutes during showtime, with the first train arriving at the Melbourne Showgrounds at 9.25am, and the last train to depart around 10.30pm.

The easiest way to plan your journey from anywhere in Melbourne is by visiting www.ptv.vic.gov.au  (or downloading the PTV app), which will give you up-to-date schedules and route information. How to get to the Royal Melbourne Show by car
If you plan on bringing home more showbags than your arms can carry, the Melbourne Showgrounds has a parking available at Flemington Racecourse. Access to the car park is via Epsom Rd or Smithfield Rd and $25 allows you to park all-day, to ensure no limit to your show experience. The Epsom Rd car park is open from 7am – 11pm and the Smithfield Rd car park is open from 8.00am – midnight.
